&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93This driver committed many sins

A little while ago, I drove to a nearby park with my family. On the way home, the car in front of me began moving in a funny way. It would drive on the edge of the road, and sometimes went over the center line. When the traffic light changed to red, we moved alongside the car to see if something was wrong. When we looked into the car, we could not believe what we saw.
It was a woman driver, talking on the phone without using a “hands-free” device, and a infant was in her lap. She had been driving dangerously with one hand on the wheel while holding a baby.
Isn’t it common sense to buckle up a baby in a child’s safety seat? Or at least put the baby in the back seat. Drivers should always keep in mind the basic safety regulations they learned when they obtained their licenses.
