[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Junk mail on phones

Many people have been peeved by junk messages recently. Most annoying are advertising messages sent to my mobile phone by my mobile service provider. I have found junk messages such as “Free background photos to download,” and “Download the most recent bell music.” I know many users of the same company’s service who complain about receiving junk messages.
No mobile phone users like to get junk messages. Mobile phone companies should try to block such messages for their customers. Since competition is fierce nowadays, a mobile phone company like mine will be hard pressed to survive.
