&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Film spiked with many dirty words

I usually do not like going to movies. But I went to a movie theater with my children recently because I heard it was free. The theater was reshowing a Korean film that had been a smash.
Since it was summer break, the theater was packed with students from elementary and high schools. A character in the movie started cursing and swearing profusely. I was surprised and concerned that the young people there heard the obscene utterances.
I do not know whether young students were legally allowed to see the movie, but swearing was part of the dialogue throughout the feature. I do not understand how any theater could play such a movie for young students.
I also do not understand how the movie, which was a big hit before, was able to attract such huge popularity. Those youngsters who were in the theater might now all become foul-tongued children.
