[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Sidewalks are too busy
I think many people have experienced walking around parked cars and advertising signs on downtown sidewalks.A few days ago, I was carrying my baby and walking on a street at night. Near the shop I was going to, I nearly tripped on an electric cord to a standing sign on the street.
If it rained or snowed, people could get an electric shock from those unprotected sign wires. I think merchants should have more consideration for pedestrians and check their standing signs to make sure they do not obstruct the way of people walking by.
