[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Stadium vendor suggestions

In Dongdaemun Stadium, 900 street vendors are selling goods. The vendors were evicted from the Cheonggye area where a renovation project is under way. I want to put forward a few recommendations to improve the vendors’ market in the stadium.
It needs information and direction signs to guide customers to the place they want to go. The majority of goods are imported from China or Indonesia. I hope they can sell used goods made in Korea and handicrafts with the flavor of Korean culture. They have to keep clean outdoor restaurants there to attract more customers, as well. Some merchants who are gambling there should be told not to do it.
If they improved their practices there, the market would be a representative tourist spot in Seoul.
