[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Find the missing children

According to government statistics, 3,000 to 4,000 children go missing every year. About 1,000 never return to their parents.
The National Police Agency operates a separate bureau to help find missing children. The police also post the identification information of the missing children on the Internet. But I don’t think the efforts are enough.
A few years ago, the Korea Electricity Power Corporation began printing missing children’s photos on electricity bills. Through the photos printed on the bills, a hundred children were returned home, the company said. Some credit card and milk companies also joined.
If other firms join the campaign to carry out photos of missing children, more children would find their way back to their parents.
