[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Waiting for ‘Passion’

I’m dropping you a line on behalf of all of us here in Korea who are looking forward to viewing Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” on the big screen.
Is the movie in fact currently being censored here?
I’ve yet to find any substantive coverage in English or Korean media sources, and a few Korean friends have informed me that, largely because of pressure from up-in-arms church leaders, “The Last Temptation of Christ” was banned from Korean theaters upon its release.
Will state censors see to it that Gibson’s historic movie meets a similar sad fate, or has this yet to be determined?
Many people look forward to viewing any future significant coverage or discussions of this movie.
