[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Study the environment
I think there is no need to explain the importance of protecting the environment. But the environmental education that is taught in schools is perfunctory, to my dismay.In middle schools and ordinary high schools, environmental studies is an elective. Many students opt to take computer classes instead of environmental studies.
In a world where our environment is facing one crisis after another, what better education can we give our younger generation than a real environmental education? I hope that schools will take more interest in environmental studies.
