Kim Jong-il was a no-show
for the 60th anniversary of the founding of North Korea in Pyongyang,
Sept. 9. North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-il did not show at the ceremony and
paramilitary organizations, not North’s standing armed forces, staged the
parade. Diplomatic sources suspect that Kim is seriously ill. [YONHAP]
