JW Marriott SeoulTo Nov. 24: The JW Marriott Seoul’s Italian restaurant Olivo is now hosting a pasta festival featuring nine dishes that bring together a wide variety of handmade noodles and intriguing sauces.
There’s even a Venetian-style red bean soup, which matches up nicely with the seven pastas. One of the pairings includes linguine with vodka sauce and sevruga caviar. The dessert is a type of puff pastry filled with dried fruit and amaretto.
The dishes range from 12,000 won to 38,000 won. ($10.27 to $32.55).

Oct. 17 to 25: The Deli of the Grand Hyatt Seoul will present a wide selection of sweets from the Middle East, which is renowned for its unique cuisine.
Visiting chef Fadi Kalkoush from the Park Hyatt Dubai will be on hand to personally create more than 20 kinds of authentic sweets indigenous to the Middle Eastern region using various kinds of nuts, syrup and other native ingredients.
