Cargo is transported overhead as stranded passengers cross a foot trail below to get to the other end of a highway that was cut off by a landslide at Tuba township, Benguet Province near the mountain resort city of Baguio in northern Philippines, on Monday. The nationwide death toll since back-to-back storms started pounding the northern Philippines late last month is more than 600. Hundreds of thousands are still displaced from their homes. [AP]
