[NEW RELEASES] Yang Bang Ean

테스트

Yang Bang Ean is a “boy who knew too much.” I say a “boy” because he never tires of searching, questioning and venturing into new territory. But he knows too much because he’s 50 years old, has been making music for about 15 years, and has achieved success, particularly with the score for the critically acclaimed documentary “Asian Corridor in Heaven.”

In his sixth and latest album, “Timeless Story,” Yang’s two sides are well illustrated. The first track, “Wish to Fly,” is full of hope; the second track, “Black Pearl,” is rather dark and solemn. After all, he did say at a recent press conference that his inspiration for the album was “light and darkness.” Meanwhile, tracks like “Souvenir,” “The Birth of Phenix,” and “Serenade” are calming, contemplative and, most importantly, perfect for the season of falling leaves, colder air and trench coats.

The album may also be perfect for those days when you are feeling introspective, making it, in some ways, timeless.
