최근 한국사회학회가 주최한 ‘행복 심포지엄’에서 한국인은 돈보다 화목한 가정과 건강을 행복의 최대 요인으로 꼽는다는 내용이 발표됐다. 한국인들은 돈을 벌기 위해 더 많이 일하지만 가족과 사이가 멀어지지나 않을까, 건강을 잃지는 않을까 하는 걱정이 앞선다는 것이다. 명절이면 먼 길 고생을 마다하지 않고 모두들 귀성에 나서는 것도 가족 사랑을 확인하고, 거기서 행복을 찾기 위함일 것이다.
