Away We Go (15)

Burt Farlander (John Krasinski) and Verona De Tessant (Maya Rudolph) are in their mid-30s and expecting their first child. They’re content without marriage, but with the baby coming, they want to live closer to family. Since Verona’s parents have died, they decide to move close to Burt’s parents - only to find out that they’re moving to Belgium a month before the baby is due.

This kicks off a road trip to find the perfect place to call home. The couple wanders from Phoenix, to Tucson, Madison, Montreal and Miami visiting friends and relatives while searching for a place to settle, and along the they way discover what being a family means to them.

Ricky is born with strange birthmarks on his back, which Katie first mistakes as signs that he’s been beaten. The adventure begins when the markings turn out to be wings.

Director and actor Emilio Estevez recreates one of the most remembered moments in American history - the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968. The film is a fictionalized account of the hours leading up to the shooting and is said to accurately portray the ambience of the era. Notable characters in the broad cast include John Casey (Anthony Hopkins), a retired hotel doorman who spends his days playing chess; Diane (Lindsay Lohan) and William (Elijah Wood), who are trying to get married so he won’t be deployed to a military base in Germany; and Virginia Fallon (Demi Moore) an alcoholic singer whose career is deteriorating, and her husband and manager, Tim (Estevez).

Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms (G)

A young earthworm named Barry is tired of being disrespected at the bottom of the food chain, constantly compared to the other insects that have arms, backbones and a brain. Barry’s only chance at a career is to become a manager for a compost business, but his luck changes one day when he plays an old disco record, which inspires him to start a band: Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms. Together, Barry and his bandmates encounter many adventures, including being captured while they’re on their way to enter the song contest of the year.



The Secret Reunion (15)

A mysterious shooting in Seoul involving Song Ji-won (Kang Dong-won), a North Korean secret agent out to assassinate a traitorous comrade, and Lee Han-gyu (Song Kang-ho), a National Intelligence Service agent, leaves Ji-won abandoned by his agency and Han-gyu fired from his job.

Six years after the shooting, both men are in Seoul, Ji-won leading a quiet life and Han-gyu running a private detective business. Destiny brings them together and they begin to realize that they have more in common than they thought. As their friendship deepens, Ji-won is summoned to finish his final mission and the trouble begins.

Before she realizes it, they’ve had five dates and she’s begun to fall for him, forcing a decision between philosophy and love.

On Aug. 7, 1974, French tightrope walker and street performer Philippe Petit spent 45 minutes walking, dancing, kneeling and lying down on a wire he and his friends had strung between the rooftops of New York City’s Twin Towers. This documentary, which includes interviews with Petit and his conspirators and news footage of his walk between the towers, reveals Petit’s history, passions and friendships as well as the details from the careful planning and clandestine preparation leading up to the performance. The story is based on Petit’s book “To Reach the Clouds.”
