Female boxer to face Thai in title bout

Former International Female Boxers Association minimum-weight champion Huh Eun-young will face Thai prospect Teeraporn Pannimit for the newly authorized World Boxing Organization minimum-weight title. The bout will be held at the Rachanuklao Gymnasium in Ayudhya, Thailand, on April 2.

Huh made her professional debut in 2006 and won the IFBA minimum-weight class title on Nov. 10, 2007. She also won the WBCF straw-weight world title in June 2008, but has since relinquished both title belts.

The orthodox fighter has an unblemished record of six wins and one tie while Pannimit has a record of nine wins, three losses in her young career.
