One more fatality in Incheon bus crash

A 48-year old man who was taken to a hospital after Saturday’s deadly bus crash on Incheon Bridge passed away yesterday morning. The death of the man raised the death toll to 13.
Jeong Hong-su, a worker at Posco Engineering and Construction, was brain dead when he arrived at Inha University Hospital in Incheon. He was put in the hospital’s intensive care unit after receiving brain surgery on Saturday, but he was pronounced dead at 8:20 a.m. yesterday.
Police plans to question 53-year-old bus driver Jeong Seok-hong as a suspect in the tragedy. Police said Jeong regained consciousness and is able to talk.
They said they will ask for the cooperation of Jeong’s family and doctor.
The bus crashed through a guardrail and plunged off the bridge after it tried to avoid a stalled car and a truck that collided into it in the middle of the bridge.
