The sound of winged angels

테스트

Name: Buddhist Bell of Cheonheung Temple

Period: Goryeo

Location: National Museum of Korea

Status: National Treasure No. 280

The Buddhist bell of Cheongeun Temple is one of the most beautiful bells from the Goryeo period.

The elegantly curved form, the hook in the shape of a powerful dragon and images of flying angels and lotus flowers all make this bell a unique work of art.

Like other bells made during the period, the body is not filled with decorations, but has a simple design. The rim of the bell is decorated with carved flowers and beads.

The bell also has an inscription describing when and where it was made.
