SEORAE GLOBAL VILLAGE CENTER - CARD & MAGIC GAMES CLASSThursday: The Seorae Global Village Center in Seocho District, southern Seoul, is holding a Card and Magic Games Class for children on Dec. 23.
The classes will be conducted in English and French for children aged five to 12. It will be an opportunity for kids to mingle with their peers while enjoying the holiday season to the fullest.
The cost is 2,500 ($2.10) per child, and the class will be held at the Seorae Global Village Center in Seocho, Seoul from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Go to Express Bus Terminal Station, lines No. 3 or 7, exit No .6 or Seocho Station, line No. 2, exit No. 7. You can also get off at Isu Station, line No.4, exit No.1. Transfer to Maeul (Village) bus to arrive at Seorae Maeul Bus stop.

PYEONGCHANG - TROUT FESTIVAL
Starting from Thursday: Pyeongchang, Gangwon is holding a seasonal winter festival called Pyeongchang Trout Festival through Feb. 6.
Visitors can enjoy a slew of programs involving ice and lure-fishing for trout accompanied by folk programs. There will be traditional folk games, such as sledding and top spinning.
Sports activities will also be provided, including riding four-wheel all-terrain vehicles, snow rafting and sleigh trains. Trout caught by ice fishing can be prepared right away at a nearby restaurant.
The festival runs during the daytime. Fishing costs 10,000 won. The venue for the festival is in front of Jinbu Bus Terminal, Jinbu, Pyeonchang, Gangwon province.
To get there, take a bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal bound for Jinbu, which takes about two hours.

RAS- MOUNT GYERYONG NATIONAL PARK HIKING TOUR
Sunday: The Royal Asiatic Society is hosting a hiking tour of Mount Gyeryong National Park on Dec. 26. Located 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from downtown Daejeon, South Chungcheong, the national park includes the mountain’s peak, major valleys and temples.
Participants will depart at 8:30 a.m. and return to Seoul at about 8 p.m. The departure point is beside Yongsan Post Office.
Go to Sinyongsan Subway Station, line No.4, Exit No.1. The fee costs 48,000 won for members and 57,600 won for non-members.
Reservations should be made no later than Wednesday, Dec. 22.
