Merck unveils hanbok calendar

Merck Korea, a multinational pharmaceutical and chemical company, launched a 2012 calendar featuring traditional hanbok dresses yesterday as part of its Creating Shared Value program.

The company held a ceremony to present the calendar at Korea House in Chungmuro, central Seoul, yesterday.

Merck’s 2012 calendar presents work done by painter Jeong Myoung-jo, famous for drawing appearances of Korean women in hanbok from behind.
