Singer Lee Hyori stands by her manager as he loses his father

테스트

Singer Lee Hyori showed her loyalty to her current manager by keeping vigil at the funeral parlor of her manager’s deceased father. The star stayed with her manager and his bereaved family from Jan. 15 to 16 as they greeted mourners who came to pay their respects to the deceased.

Lee and her manager met some 10 years ago when she was with the entertainment agency DSP Media. When she left the agency, her manager relocated with her. Currently, the two are still working together at B2M Entertainment. Last year, Lee’s purchase of a brand new car for her manager attracted the attention of netizens.

“Once you are in this industry, you come to realize how important the people around you are,” a representative from the entertainment industry said. “Much to Lee’s credit, the way that she treats those around her has played a huge part in her success.”

Lee, who has become known as an animal rights activist, also fueled the interest of fans with the Dec. 19 launch of her 2012 calendar. The proceeds from the calendar will benefit animal shelters that house homeless dogs.
