Seo Jang-hoon signs with SonicboomVeteran center Seo Jang-hoon will play for Busan KT Sonicboom of the Korean Basketball League next season after signing one-year deal worth of 100 million won ($85,600), the Sonicboom said yesterday.
The 38-year-old Seo has amassed the most points (12,808) and rebounds (5,089) in league history after playing 15 seasons.
But during his 35 games last year with the Changwon LG Sakers, he earned only an average of 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game - a career worst. He was released as free agent for upcoming season.
The Sonicboom said in a press release that they want to allow the legendary basketball player to wrap up his career successfully and consider Seo a good option for both offense and defense.
The Sonicboom will be his sixth team in the KBL. He has previously played for the SK Knights, Samsung Thunders, KCC Egis, Incheon ET Land and LG Sakers.
