I was experiencing some stomach pains last year so headed to a small hospital in my local neighborhood. I lacked any prior knowledge about the doctor’s credentials or reputation. Suffice to say, I wished I would have made a more informed choice.

Now my troubles are gone thanks to GooDoc.

This Korean-language app lists doctors’ specialties and educational backgrounds, even at smaller hospitals. Users can pick an area and rifle through all the available facilities and specific departments there. Some of the doctors even upload their photos, as well as images of the hospital, a phone number and a map showing you how to get there.
