T-ara’s Japanese debut album “Jewelry Box” sold more than 13,796 copies on the day of its release, taking the album to the number two spot on the daily Oricon Album Chart.
The album was released on June 6 and comprises 13 tracks from new songs to past hits, such as “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “Lovey Dovey.”

This stroke of good luck is no doubt welcomed by the band, which saw one of its members fall sick just days ago.

On June 5, Bo-ram was taken to a hospital for acute gastritis just hours before her group members were set to perform at a Korea-Japan diplomacy event.
Core Contents Media said that Bo-ram is fine and that she’d be better in a week’s time.

Meanwhile, the girl group is scheduled to begin a tour of Japan on June 19 that will include six cities and 11 concerts.
After the tour, T-ara will begin a new chapter with two new members set to join the group.
