The National Museum of Korea has recently changed the items on display in the Calligraphy and Painting section. The works displayed include works from the Joseon era (1392-1910) in four sections: figure painting; landscape painting; paintings of flowers, birds and animals; and decorative paintings for royal courts. This 19th-century work by Jang Seung-eop (1843-1897) falls in the third category. The 107 new items will be exhibited until Oct. 21. Provided by the museum
