Tei sings farewell before entering into the Army



On Saturday, singer Tei wrapped up his two-day farewell concert just before he enters into the on Sept. 11.
The concert featuring his band Handsome People, took place at M Cube in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul.

Despite the somber context of the show, Tei made the audience laugh by presenting his own spoof of the viral song of the moment “Gangnam Style.”
Tei’s version was titled “Soldier Style” and the 29-year-old gave a rendition of the military life that awaits him for the next two years.

In addition, the lead singer of the trio band sang an array of past hits before hitting the sentimental chord by telling fans, “During my early 20s, I received a fair amount of love from you all. Now it’s time to go and serve the nation.”
Tei said, “I’ll be back soon, so please wait for me.”

Since the concert, Tei had spent his last remaining days with friends and family at his hometown in Ulsan.
Today he will enter into a training facility in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi.
One of Tei’s most notable achievements in the last year includes winning the first season of the singing-survival show “Opera Star” on tvN.
