Jung Woo-sung, who was a judge in the New Currents segment at this year’s Busan International Film Festival, has already moved on to his next project.

Ahead of the film festival’s official closing tomorrow, Jung made his way back to Seoul yesterday to prepare for his next film, tentatively titled “Watchers”.

The 40-year-old star is said to be occupied with character analysis: He’s absorbing all he can about his character, from his hairstyle to his way of walking.

In the flick co-starring Han Hyo-joo and Sol Kyung-gu, Jung is set to take on his first bad guy character.

“The combination of Sol’s acting skills and Jung’s pretty boy good looks will be reason enough to watch it,” said a spokesperson for the film, adding that production will begin later this month.

Only a few days ago, Jung rubbed shoulders with some notable figures, such as Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio, winner of the Nobel Prize in literature, Japanese director Naomi Kawase and Canadian movie critic David Gilmore, who were also on the judging panel at the Busan festival.
