Dongduk college seeks int’l students

In a move to diversify its student body, Dongduk Women’s University will start recruiting full-time international students for next year.

The school also has established programs for exchange students and short-term and long-term language training.

The admissions office stated that its international admissions team has proposed measures to generate a more diverse student population and will accept admissions for international students for the spring semester of 2013.

It will further open a Korean language institute in March of next year. The school will provide scholarship opportunities and housing priority for international students and will also have a buddy system, assign an adviser professor and make tutoring sessions and cultural excursions available to help students adjust to campus life.

More information can be found on the school’s Web site (www.dongduk.ac.kr/eng).
