My Name to hold first concert at home
The show titled “The Beginning” will take place on March 2 at the Uniqlo Ax Hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul.
The group’s only released two singles on home turf since debuting in 2011, and despite selling more than 20,000 copies of its releases, has been relatively inactive in Korea due to Japanese promotions.
Thus the fact that they’ll hold a solo concert is quite an achievement.
The group will sing an array of Korean and Japanese songs as well as some new tracks that it’ll release ahead of time on Jan. 25.
“My Name has its Japanese experience under its belt now,” said the show organizer who said they were expecting big things from the Korean show.
On Dec. 15 and 17 the group performed for some 5,000 Japanese fans in Osaka and Tokyo.
