New single for girl band
Girl band Brown Eyed Girls is set to return to the stage Tuesday with the release of a new digital single, according to its agency, Nega Network.Jea, the lead vocalist of Brown Eyed Girls, piqued fans’ curiosity Thursday by posting a photo on her Twitter page featuring the words, “Sometimes fresh and sometimes sweet, a recipe for special of you, Brown Eyed Girls 2013.07.09” and the caption “Brown Eyed Girls D-5~!!” below.
The photo is the only clue of the new single, but the group will further open up its teaser image and video, as well as an album jacket that captures a lesser-known side of each member, leading up to the single’s release.
Brown Eyed Girls’ comeback is expected to heat up the music scene that is jam-packed with leading girl groups such as 2NE1, which is slated to release its single the day before Brown Eyed Girls.
