The “Gangnam Style” star Psy has collaborated with rocker Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, according to Psy’s recent interview with L’Uomo Vogue in Italy.
“The big secret is, I just finished recording my next song with a legendary artist, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith,” Psy said.
“When I was in middle school, I literally cried when I heard ‘Crazy’ or ‘Amazing’ or whatever,” said Psy. “They were my lifetime role models, and now I am collaborating with Steven Tyler. I love my life.”
He said he revealed the collaboration to thank the magazine for featuring him on the cover. The October edition of the magazine is the first time a Korean artist has ever made the cover.
The only other Korean to make the cover is Ban Ki-moon, secretary-general of the United Nations.
Psy and Tyler met in Singapore in May at a public event. At the time, Psy posted a photo of them together on his online account.
The release date for the song they recorded together has not been announced.
