K-pop group 2PM once again is sitting on the top of the Oricon music chart in Japan as its Japanese album, “Winter Games,” shot right to No. 1.

The daily chart released yesterday shows 2PM at No. 1, selling more than 64,000 copies on its first day.

Tower Records’ famous shop in Shibuya reportedly had a checkout counter dedicated just to customers buying “Winter Games.”

“Thanks to the love from our many fans, we have made No. 1 on Oricon,” the group said in a release.

“We are always thankful for the big love, and we will try even harder.”

The group came back to Korea yesterday after having completed the promotions for the new EP in Japan.
