Much anticipated Spark EV will go on sale next Monday
GM Korea, the Korean unit of the United States automaker General Motors, said yesterday its Chevrolet Spark Electric Vehicle will go on sale Monday.The country’s third-largest automaker said that its first Spark EV will be delivered to the city of Changwon for business use.
Changwon city government will allow EV sales for private operators starting from the middle of next month, while the city of Jeju will start from Nov. 1.
GM Korea’s Spark EV can run 135 kilometers (83 miles) on a full charge, currently the longest distance among local EVs.
