She has been diagnosed with tendonitis, which causes knees to swell.
According to Jiyeon’s management, recovery will take at least three weeks, and could last as long as six months.
The agency said that her condition is not considered serious, but given the heavy promotions needed for the group’s new album, “Again,” they are being cautious.
