Yoona of Girls’ Generation said she is excited to take on a new role in the KBS drama “Prime Minister and I” during a press conference yesterday in Jangchoong-dong, central Seoul.
“Among all the roles I have played, the character I’m playing is very troublesome,” she said.
She is playing a reporter named Nam Dae-jeong, who reports scandalous entertainment news. At first, she looks cunning, but she’s actually full of many weaknesses.
She is partnering with actor Lee Bum-su, who is playing the role of the prime minister.
“The character is really similar to who I am,” she said. “And it made me feel more comfortable acting in the role.”
The drama will air Monday.
