At the Embassy of South Africa in Hannam-dong, Seoul, yesterday, Hilton Anthony Dennis, South African ambassador to Korea, pays tribute to Nelson Mandela, the first black president of South Africa and a global icon of peace and reconciliation, who died at the age of 95 on Dec. 5. President Park Geun-hye issued a statement, saying, “His profound contributions will be the cornerstones of world peace and forever cherished in our hearts.” [NEWSIS]
