Drama fixes date, keeps star
The news was particularly welcomed because the broadcaster had been having some scheduling problems and the air date of the show was unclear until yesterday.
Fans were worried that, because of other commitments Park has, a delay in the start of the drama could have forced him to drop out of the role.
Now that timing issues have been resolved, filming should start next month and the series will begin airing in February.
The drama, which is going to have 16 episodes, will feature Park as a member of the president’s secret service corps. After the president goes missing during a four-day vacation in the summer, it is up to Park’s character to find the country’s chief executive before time runs out.
