Former Wonder Girls leader apologizes

테스트

Sunye apologized to her fans on Christmas Eve about her decision to get married, blaming it for ending her once-popular group the Wonder Girls.

“I’m sincerely sorry that my choice stopped you from seeing the Wonder Girls,” she wrote on her Twitter feed.

“I don’t think my words will console you, but I at least wanted to say I’m sorry.”

Sunye got married in January to a missionary named James Park and then decided to put her career on hold. She moved to Canada after the wedding in Korea and gave birth to a daughter in October.

“I hope everyone is supportive of the individual work each member of the Wonder Girls has in the future,” she added.

“This year has been so precious, thanks to all of you, and I wish you all have a wonderful year.”

Recently, Sohee, another member of the group, announced that she will leave the group to focus on her career as an actress.
