2NE1 coming to 9 countries, 13 cities

Popular girl group 2NE1 released more information yesterday about its world tour, coming just over a year after the group’s first international tour.

The group will launch the tour in Seoul on March 1 with two shows in two days at Olympic Park in southeastern Seoul.

From there, 2NE1’s tour will take the group to nine countries, including China, Japan and Singapore, with 17 big concerts lined up in 13 cities.

But YG Entertainment, the group’s agency, says that more performances could be added to the tour as demand is high from many countries.

2NE1’s first tour, “New Evolution” in 2012, was produced in cooperation with the international concert group Live Nation, which has worked with big name global stars like Lady Gaga, Madonna and U2 on their world tours.

More updates on the tour schedule will be added to the YG Entertainment website or the group’s official Facebook page.
