Rumble Fish returns with mini-album
The singer known as Rumble Fish is coming back with her second mini-album on Jan. 15.
The singer, whose real name is Choi Jin-yi, has been away from the music scene for just over a year but released a cover photo of her album to raise the expectations of local fans.
The photo showed Choi in the boyish clothing of a shirt, jacket and black fedora.
“Different from the widely known, confident and powerful image of Rumble Fish, she plans to show a completely different side,” said her agency Polaris Entertainment.
“She has worked constantly to change not only her looks but also her music style.”
Rumble Fish was originally the name of Choi’s band, formed in 2004. But after the three other members left the group in 2008, Choi continued to record under the name. She signed with Polaris last year.
