‘Infinite’ to film at World Cup

Members of the MBC entertainment show “Infinite Challenge” will go to Brazil to see the FIFA World Cup in June, the broadcaster said yesterday.

“We have decided to go there to cheer for Korea’s national football team,” said MBC.

Korea’s national team is scheduled to have its first match against Russia on June 18. It will also face Algeria on June 23 and Belgium on June 27 in the first round.

The exact travel plan for the members of the show, including comedians Yoo Jae-suk and Jung Jun-ha, has not been announced.

The trip is part of the project “Infinite Challenge Cheering Team,” which was launched last year. Team members perform at homes, offices or events to spread their joy and energy. However, the broadcaster will not send the members to the Sochi Winter Olympics next month due to scheduling problems.
