Nexen Tire to supply Spanish automaker SEAT’s Ibiza
Nexen Tire, the nation’s third-largest tire manufacturer, said yesterday that its tires will be installed on Spanish automaker SEAT’s popular mini car Ibiza.According to the company, its Original Equipment tires will be fitted to Ibiza models manufactured in Martorell, Spain, where SEAT is headquartered.
Nexen Tire said that its N’Blue HD tires will be installed to Ibiza models sold elsewhere in Europe.
Nexen has been trying to improve its image by supplying OE tires to European automakers. The company last year inked a deal to supply tires for Volkswagen’s Polo and Skoda’s Octavia and Rapid.
