Son Hyun-joo to chronicle evil
Actor Son Hyun-joo who is currently starring in the SBS drama “3 Days” as Korea’s president, might appear as a detective in his next film “Chronicles of the Evil” (working title), according to local reports.“Son will make a final decision after the shooting for ‘3 Days’ is finished,” said his agency, Faith Entertainment.
The thriller “Chronicles of the Evil” will be directed by Baek Woon-hak of “Tube” (2003).
The story is reportedly about a detective who gets involved in a murder case just before he is supposed to get a promotion at work.
Last year, Son earned praise for his variety of roles, playing a North Korean special forces instructor in “Secretly Greatly” and a father desperate to protect his family in “Hide and Seek.”
The rest of the cast for “Chronicles” has not been announced. The film is scheduled to begin filming in May.
