May 4, 5: JW Marriott Hotel Seoul is holding a classical concert for children to mark Children’s Day.
Designed for families with young children, the concert will take place not in a dark formal concert hall but in the hotel’s bright membership lounge.
“Miffy’s Little Concert” features the Dutch character Miffy and is presented in a fun way for kids to enjoy classical music.
The concert is divided into sections like “Getting Up,” “Eating,” “Playtime,” “Bath Time” and “Bedtime,” following the typical day of a young child. The music will be performed by a chamber ensemble of some of Korea’s top musicians.
The concert will be accompanied by a variety of side programs, including a children’s buffet, an exhibition of original Miffy pictures and character-decorating sessions, offering the chance for families to spend quality time together.
The concert will take place four times over May 4 and 5 in Classic 7, on the seventh floor of the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul.
Tickets are priced at 86,000 won for adults and 65,000 won for children (between ages 1 and 6). Reservations can be made by telephone or online at ticket.interpark.com.
