Singer Dae-sung from popular K-pop band Big Bang attracted an audience of 34,000 during the first two days of his second solo concert in Japan, according to local reports yesterday.
Under the title “D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan ~D’slove~,” the 25-year-old singer embarked on his solo Japanese tour in Yokohama on Wednesday. According to his agency, YG Entertainment, Dae-sung enthusiastically participated in producing every act of the concert, proving that the singer is expanding his spectrum as a musician.
During the concert, Dae-sung unveiled his latest Japanese single, “Rainy Rainy,” for the first time. He also performed tracks from his previous albums.
“Rainy Rainy,” an upbeat track from the four-track mini-album of the same title, was released through online music outlets in Japan. As soon as it came out, it ranked No. 1 on the Japanese iTunes chart.
Dae-sung will make eight more stops around major Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Kobe and Fukuoka.
Last year, on his first 26-stop solo tour of Japan, Dae-sung attracted more than 100,000 fans in 20 cities.
