Exo’s Shanghai concert a success
Popular Boy group Exo performed in Shanghai over the weekend and is now gearing up for its next concert on Saturday in Changsha, China.The Shanghai concert was part of a tour during which the group has also performed in Seoul, Hong Kong, Taiwan and elsewhere in China including Chengdu, Chongqing and Wuhan.
On Friday and Saturday, the group entertained an audience of about 20,000 fans with a two-hour long set. In the show “Exo From Exoplanet #1 -- The Lost Planet,” the members performed 31 songs.
They opened the concert with their debut single “Mama” and then continued with other hits including “Overdose,” “Growl,” “Lucky,” and “Love Love Love.”
Besides performing as a group, some Exo members also sang individually to better connect with fans.
Prior to the concert on Friday, Exo held a press conference in Shanghai to talk about its role as an honorary ambassador Samsung Electronics’ campaign sponsoring the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics.
