Stars of YG Entertainment to perform in Taiwan
YG Entertainment, one of the Korea’s largest entertainment agencies, will hold an overseas concert with many of its singers.The concert “YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Taiwan” will be held at Taoyuan County Stadium in Taiwan on Oct. 25.
World star Psy, along with boy group Big Bang and girl group 2NE1, will be performing in the show. Newly debuted boy group Winner will also perform. The new boy group, which the agency unveiled nine years after its launch of Big Bang, has topped many local music charts and iTunes in overseas countries with its title track “Empty.”
The agency plans to present some performances enhanced with digital devices by Korea’s Samsung Electronics, a sponsor of the event.
The agency’s stars also sang in front of 35,000 fans last weekend at Jamsil Sports Complex during the “AIA Real Life: Now Festival.”
