Luna denies boyfriend rumors
Rumors surfaced on the Internet Monday that Luna from the K-pop girl group f(x) is dating a non-celebrity, after a local media outlet exclusively reported about their relationship through paparazzi photos they claim were taken over the weekend.Luna, 21, denied the rumors through her agency, SM Entertainment.
Online news company The Fact uploaded several photos of Luna with a mysterious man on Monday afternoon, writing that the shots were taken around 9 a.m. on Sunday on a “sequestered street” in Hongje-dong, western Seoul. The man’s face was censored.
“Luna looked like she was having fun with the tall, slender man at a bus stop while they were waiting for a ride,” The Fact wrote.
“Luna was laughing so hard, she kept bending her body backward. The man was charming enough to gently hold her shoulders so she wouldn’t fall back.”
The news outlet also mentioned the two touched each other “naturally,” like patting each other’s waists, further suggesting that, clearly, love was in the air.
Through a telephone interview with Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, Luna’s agency said the two are just “close friends” who met at church.
“Luna does not have a boyfriend,” the agency stressed. “They’re just really close friends.” The Fact wrote that the agency told them they were on their way to church when the pictures were taken.
