Toy to release seventh studio album
Singer-songwriter You Hee-yeol will release a new album - his first in seven years - under his one-man band Toy, according to the musician’s agency Antenna Music.
His seventh studio album is set to feature famed artists Sung Si-kyung, Kim Dong-ryul, Lee Juck and Dynamic Duo, and is scheduled to be unveiled on Nov. 18.
You started his career as a composer when he was a college student, later forming Toy. On each of his albums, the 43-year-old has collaborated with different singers.
His popularity reached a new high this year after he appeared on the reality TV show “Youth Over Flowers.”
The musician also hosts the late-night music program “You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” on KBS and is set to return as a judge on the fourth season of “K-Pop Star” later this month.
