Mando creates anti-collision sensor using own technology
Auto parts maker Mando Corporation said yesterday that it has developed an anti-collision radar sensor using only in-house technology.
The sensor is a core part of its Smart Cruise Control System that mostly relied on foreign manufacturers. The company said it has been working on creating the sensor since 2008 and will install it in cars by the end of the year. The company added that the sensor detects the movement of vehicles and pedestrians to alert drivers and help them to avoid collisions.
