Crayon Pop promotes safety

Girl group Crayon Pop will promote a campaign in Thailand after being chosen as a public relations ambassador by Save the Children Thailand and the Asian Injury Prevention Foundation.
As the PR ambassador to the two charity organizations, the five-member girl group will promote the need for Thai children to wear helmets while on motorcycles.
According to Save the Children Thailand, motorcycles are one of the most common modes of transportations in the country but only 7 percent of children wear helmets while riding them. About 2,600 children die on the road every year and 72,000 are injured.
For the campaign, the girl group, which rose to stardom with “Bar Bar Bar,” will be in Thailand for three days from Nov. 22 to 24. While there, the group will have a concert and appear on TV shows.
The girl group has become synonymous with helmets because they wore them when they promoted their hit “Bar Bar Bar” last year.
